Dámaso Molero


Dámaso Molero is Chief Executive Officer at 3P and has been leading the company since 2007. Prior to joining 3P, he spent ten years as Plant Director of Shionogi’s manufacturing facility in Madrid, where he headed API and commercial drug product operations. Dámaso has also held other managerial and directorship roles for industry leaders including Glaxo, F. Hoffman La Roche, and Syntex, with a career spanning more than thirty-five years in the pharmaceutical industry. As chief executive, Dámaso has positioned 3P as a leading global CDMO holding both FDA and EMA approvals. Additionally, he has led the company through an acquisition by Keensight Capital and is currently managing a site expansion which includes increases to both plant capacity and headcount. Dámaso holds a Graduate Degree in Pharmacy and an Executive Master’s in Business Administration. 

Iker Portugal


Iker Portugal joined 3P in May of 2020 as Chief Financial Officer. Prior to 3P he worked over two decades in different financial management positions, including 11 years at the Travel Technology provider Amadeus, where he served as Investor Relations Officer, Group Controller and Director of Capital Markets. Iker also served as CFO at the food and beverage manufacturer J.García-Carrión. Iker started his career in Financial Consulting at AFI and in Investment Banking at Argentaria. He brings a vast experience across industries in financial planning and control, financing, and M&A which provides valuable insight and added perspective to 3P’s management team. Iker holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the University of Navarra and a Master’s Degree in Economics from the London School of Economics

Elena Erroba


Elena Erroba has led 3P’s Business Development Department since 2014. She first joined the company in 2011 as Business Development Manager and has since played an essential role in the company’s growth and strategic development. In addition to heading Business Development, Elena is responsible for leading the company’s Marketing and Project Management departments. Prior to 3P, Elena spent the previous five years working as a Business Development Consultant for Alcimed and Biolty consulting firms, and most recently served as Project Director at ASEBIO. Her understanding of the global market has allowed her to successfully navigate the competitive landscape and execute company strategy. Elena holds a Doctorate in Biomedicine and a Bachelor’s Degree in Biochemistry from the University of Navarra, as well as a Master’s in Business Administration from CEF Business School.

Rubén Cuervo


Ruben Cuervo has served as 3P’s Plant Director since 2018 and is responsible for scale-up, clinical, and commercial manufacturing activities. He first joined 3P in 2012 as Upstream Plant Manager before receiving promotions to Head of Scale-up and Manufacturing in 2014 and Senior Head of Technical Services in 2017. Before joining 3P, Ruben worked for thirteen years as the Head of Antibody Manufacturing at the Center of Molecular Biology in Cuba. Ruben provides more than twenty years of experience in cGMP manufacturing and has played a key role in 3P obtaining approvals from both the FDA and EMA. Ruben holds a Master’s Degree in Biotechnology Process Engineering and a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from the Jose Antonio Echeverría Polytechnical Institute in Habana, Cuba.

Tomás Alarcón


Tomas Alarcón joined 3P as Human Resources Director in 2016. He is responsible for 3P’s training and development programs, recruiting and staffing strategy, and employee relations. Tomás’ career spans more than 15 years in Human Resources, working predominantly in the clean and renewable energies sector for companies such as Siemens Gamesa, Gestamp, and Viscofan. Leveraging his experience working in a competitive and innovating space, he has played an important role in the company’s growth trajectory, helping 3P attract and maintain industry leading talent. Tomás holds a Master’s degree in Human Resources from Limerick University in Ireland as well as two Bachelor’s Degrees, one in Labor and Industrial Relations from the Public University of Navarra, and the second in Human Resources Management from the Rovira i Virgili University in Tarragona.

Aurora Solana


Aurora Solana first joined 3P as Analytical Services Director in 2019 before transitioning to the role of Quality Assurance and Quality Control Director in September of 2020. She is responsible for developing and maintaining 3P’s quality systems, assuring regulatory compliance, and managing analytical development activities. Aurora’s responsibilities prior to 3P include similar management and directorship roles in quality and compliance for companies such as Baxter and Leon Farma. As the head of quality, her experience in manufacturing API and final drug product for global markets serves a strong foundation for 3P’s quality departments. Aurora holds both a Master’s Degree in Technical Management of Pharmaceutical Laboratories and a Bachelor’s Degree in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Oviedo in Asturias.
Jose Luis Bartolomé_Operational Excellence Director

José Luis Bartolomé


Jose Luis Bartolomé has been serving as Operational Excellence Director since September 2020. He is responsible for managing and improving the efficiency of business processes enhancing 3P’s value proposition. Prior to joining 3P management, Jose Luis spent more than 30 years in biologics manufacturing building expertise in operations, technology transfer, and downstream processing. He has held a variety of leadership roles of increasing responsibility for companies such as Laboratorios Ovejero, Lonza, Genentech, and GlaxoSmithKline. His most recent roles include Director General at Laboratorios Ovejeros and Manufacturing Director at Lonza where he spent more than ten years. Leveraging his technical background and experience with regulatory agencies, Jose Luis works closely with 3P´s department heads, driving value creation internally and for clients. Jose Luis holds a Bachelor´s Degree in Biology from the University of Santiago de Compostela in La Coruña.

José Luis Torres


José Luis Torres joined 3P as Information Technologies Director in early 2019. He is responsible for the development and maintenance of 3P’s IT infrastructure and quality systems. His career prior to 3P includes multiple managerial and specialist roles in the IT space working for pharmaceutical companies and other patient focused R&D organizations including Genzyme, Sanofi, and Kin Laboratories. Jose Luis’ efforts have helped enabled 3P to execute its growth strategy as he and his team work diligently implementing new technologies while simultaneously ensuring the integrity of 3P´s data and information systems. He holds an Executive Master´s in Business Administration from EAE Business School as well a Bachelor´s Degree in Computer Science from Oklahoma State University.

Josu Orbara


Josu Orbara has served as 3P’s Maintenance Director since 2008. His responsibilities include the management of equipment and the integration and installation of new technologies in 3P’s manufacturing and development areas. Focused on safety and reproducibility, Josu and his team work in a concerted effort with plant personnel to guarantee the optimal functionality of process equipment. Before joining 3P, Josu worked at both Volkswagen and Prodinsa where he held positions in project management directing engineering and process automation efforts. Josu holds a Master’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering from the Public University of Navarra, and two Bachelor’s Degrees, one in Electrical Engineering from the Universidad de La Rioja and the second from the University of Alfonso X el Sabio in Industrial Engineering and Automation.
